I’m Matilda. I'm a strategist, startup advisor, and fractional marketing leader based in London.
I've worked with brands like Lime, Sonos, Weleda, and The London Institute of Photography, launching into new markets, driving millions of app downloads, and building growth strategies that led to multi-million pound acquisitions. I got quite good at growing things.
But after several years of running my own consultancy, the voice in my head questioning "growth at what cost?" just kept getting louder.
In 2024, I started writing Broken Growth, a Substack now read by 2,000+ people, exploring what successful growth actually means when our planet of finite resources is on fire.
This evolved into the Broken Growth Strategy Sprint, a group programme for one-person businesses who Building Broken Growth as a home for one-person businesses who want to grow business ecosystems that are creative extensions of who they are.
